At least 365 people were killed when Hamas stormed the Tribe of Nova festival near Kibbutz Re'im on October 7 as part of a coordinated attack on Israel. About 40 others were kidnapped and taken to Gaza as hostages. Gruesome videos and images from the festival, which was attended by more than 3,500 people from multiple countries, circulated on social media shortly after the attack.
