Hair, Let the Sun Shine In plot

At the end of the 1960s, theater makers James Rado and Gerome (Jerry) Ragni conveyed a critical, artistic message about those turbulent times. They came up with the musical Hair, about the much hated war in Vietnam, racism and the new, free sexual morality. These New Yorkers had no idea that their musical would become world famous. Today, fresh cast members are still warm to Hair's message. As in 1969, they sing and discuss the current political climate together. The filmmakers alternate interviews with those involved from the very beginning with archive footage from that time.
