Gorongosa: Paradise Reborn plot

The Gorongosa National Park is a protected nature reserve of approximately 4,000 km² in the Sofala province of Mozambique. The park was established in 1960 and consists mainly of savanna and grasslands. Part of the park around Mount Gorongosa consists of rainforest. The park was known as the Eden of Africa, but was almost destroyed by war. Now it is home to the largest wildlife restoration in history.
