Good Rockin' Tonight plot

Good Rockin' Tonight is the story of Sun Records and the influence of that typical Sun sound on contemporary music. The film has the atmosphere of a musical reunion. Musicians then and now talk about the roots of rock 'roll, the magic of true talent and the business side of the record world. We hear how Elvis walked into the studio in 1954 as a 19-year-old boy and made his first single That's All Right Mama. But also how shortly afterwards the same Elvis was sold to competitor RCA, to solve Sun Records' financial problems.
