God the Father plot

God the Father is about the personal development of Michael Fransze, a young capo from the Colombo mafia family in the 80s and 90s. His father, John 'Sonny' Fransze, was a notorious underboss of the family. Michael Fransze followed in his father's footsteps and in the mid-1980s Fortune Magazine named him number 18 on its list of the 50 Richest and Most Powerful Mafia Bosses. In 1987 he renounced criminal life and took refuge in the Christian faith.
