God Knows Where I Am plot
A series of meticulously kept diaries form the basis for this reconstruction of Linda Bishop's life. Directors Jedd and Todd Wider also give the floor to those left behind: her sister, a friend, her daughter and the owner of the abandoned house where Linda hid for the last months of her life. Little by little, her life story emerges through these different sources. While fragments from the diaries are read, clear images show what she must have seen while writing: the abandoned house in which she lived for a harsh winter, the snow-covered surroundings and the ever-dwindling supply of apples.
