Giovanni Segantini: Magie des Lichts plot

Documentary about the artist Giovanni Segantini (1858 - 1899), who led a life as an outcast and anarchist. He usually created his works in the open air and the subject was often idealized nature with a mountain landscape, with people looking down tired. The artist's life is reconstructed on the basis of his autobiographical texts, read by Bruno Ganz.
