A teacher punishes a group of children because no one wants to say which of them made a noise during class. Taking this dilemma (to betray or to remain silent) as a starting point, this documentary filmed during the Islamic Revolution shows us interviews on this issue with students, parents, teachers, state officials, religious and political leaders and intellectuals. The issues of solidarity, betrayal and personal freedom provoke answers that would later lead to censorship of the film.
