Gangway to a Future plot

In the summer of 2017, in the port of Rotterdam, a group of inexperienced idealists are preparing for a turbulent sailing trip to the Mediterranean, where they will pick up boat refugees under the flag of an NGO. An old fishing boat is relieved of its function and refitted. The necessary discussions precede the restoration of the antique ship: how many doctors and nurses will man the treatment room that previously served as a fish room? And should a cold store also be set up for mortal remains?
