Gangri Gi Min plot

In Bhutan, 11-year-old Yangchen's father is the glacier specialist. He is also the only person who has permission to enter the high mountains that are considered a sanctuary. He is away from home for months to measure the rapidly decreasing ice thickness. While trekking on foot through the snow to the farthest reaches of the Bhutanese Himalayas, he faithfully shoots films for his daughter with his phone. These images take the viewer into breathtaking landscapes, where the realization grows that something irreversible is happening.
