Gambit plot

This documentary takes a closer look at the 1976 disaster near Meda near Seveso (in the region of Milan, Italy). In a chemical plant, where pesticides and herbicides were produced, dioxin was released as a result of an uncontrolled reaction. The accident had no immediate fatal consequences, but the rapid spread contaminated an extensive area around the facility. The neighboring town of Seveso was hardest hit. More than 600 people were evacuated and at least 2,000 were treated for dioxin poisoning.
