Fufu met Appelmoes plot

There is double blood in the veins of creator Roziena Salihu. She is both Ghanaian and Dutch. Her Ghanaian father left the family when she and her brother were small. Because of this, she was raised by her white mother in a white village. It marks her youth and forms the basis for a paradoxical existence, because: she is just as black as she is white. Or vice versa? In the white village where she grew up, Roziena is black, in her family in Ghana she is tinted and sometimes even white. In the documentary 'Fufu met Appelmoes', Roziena searches within her family for an answer to the question: how come I don't know my identity?
