Freakonomics, based on the book of the same name that became a bestseller, tries to analyze complex issues with economic theories. Six documentary makers are each assigned a chapter in which they deal with a real issue in this way. The similarity between Sumo wrestlers and Chicago educators, the link between your name and your financial gain, what really makes a good parent? The relationship between the legalization of abortion and the falling crime rate in the 1990s, etc. All matters that are dealt with from a Freakonomics point of view.
