Frank Martinus Arion plot

Frank Martinus Arion (1936-2015) was an important Curaçao-Dutch writer, poet and linguist. His most widely read novel “Double Game” revolves around a frantic game of dominoes and gradually develops a picture of the relationship between men and women in that island society. In this documentary, Antillean machismo is the theme of a fierce and revealing discussion between seven Antillean men from diverse backgrounds. On the other hand, Arion speaks in the film about the 'courageous women' of the island, who were also decisive in his life and work.
