Framing the Other plot

The women of the Mursi tribe of Ethiopia are known for placing large plates in their lower lips and wearing huge, ornate earrings. Every year, hundreds of western tourists come to see the unusually decorated natives. Posing for photographic visitors has become the main source of income for the Mursi.
