Fra Thailand til Thy plot

"A different kind of love story"

Over the past 15 years, some 500 Thai women have settled in Ty to try their luck with a Danish man. We are introduced to Sommai. She once worked in the Thai sex industry of Pattaya, but is now happily married to Niels. Like many of her Thai compatriots, she works in the local fishing industry. The marriages between Western men and Eastern women have a calculated character: each of the partners is looking for something that was missing in his or her life. Despite that business premise and the language barrier, thanks to the universal language of love, the couples seem to manage to build quite harmonious relationships.
