Four Brothers plot

Daniil, Ruslan, Maksim, and Mark are four brothers from Donetsk in Ukraine. Their mother was addicted to drugs and alcohol, and their father spent years in prison. Because their mother could not care for them, the three oldest boys were placed in an orphanage. Not long after, two-year-old Daniil, who had been abandoned on the street, also ended up there. The three oldest brothers, Mark, Maksim, and Ruslan, attended a co-educational school where they became friends with the other orphans. Ruslan says that this was one of the best periods of his life and that he discovered a kind of stability there for the first time. In 2011, Maksim, the second brother and a great football talent, signed a contract with Shakhtar, a local first-division football team. However, fate was not kind to him. The day he signed the contract, Maksim broke his back in a tragic motorcycle accident.
