Formas de Atravesar un Territorio plot
"¿Pertenecemos a un lugar o un lugar nos pertenece?"
On a green mountainside in southern Mexico, a family of indigenous Tsotsil women herd sheep. The film observes them as they cut and dye the wool, or walk with the animals through the mountains. But more than a portrait, the film is an encounter. One in which filmmaker Gabriela Dominguez Ruvalcaba does not impose her perspective, but makes it transparent. She enters into a conversation with the women (sometimes literally, sometimes figuratively). About the making of the film and about their cultural identity.
