"Back for seconds."

The American food industry leaves a trail of victims: both animals and people pay the price for a highly efficient but fragile food system. Workers in the (fast) food industry are barely making ends meet and ultra-processed food is causing an unprecedented health crisis. But, innovative farmers, food producers and legislators inspire and try to change course towards a more sustainable food industry.
