An analysis of the aesthetics of 'the film' in different chapters. Recent years have brought many technical innovations: digital manipulation, Internet TV, virtual reality games, CD-ROMs and DVDs now dominate the media landscape. The project 'Film ist.' wants to make an artistic contribution to the discussion about a better understanding of the way in which optical-acoustic media work.
