"War is Bad"

“The Face of the Enemy” is an anti-war film that shows the personal anguish behind the cold numbers that say more than four million Vietnamese (versus 58 thousand Americans) died during the Vietnam War. People from South and North Vietnam and Vietnamese who emigrated to America will speak. We hear how their friends were killed en masse in the army, how they were caught between the government army, Viet Cong and the Americans, and how the political divides ran not only through the country, but also through families. How mothers abandoned their children because their fathers were American soldiers. And how the war still haunts horribly in the chemical-weaponized lives of children born long afterwards.
