Fei Cui Zhi Cheng plot

Jade City is the nickname of the Burmese city of Hpakant, the center of the jade mining and trade. The semi-precious stone is one of the main sources of income in Burma. The jade industry, always in the hands of the military regime, has been located in the middle of Burma since 2012 where the Kachin Independence Army is fighting a civil war. Due to the chaotic situation, many people are now trying to find jade on their own in the abandoned mines. The relatives of the filmmaker-artist Midi Z also sought their happiness around Jade City. He tracked them into the restricted area and captured them with his camera.
