Fat Head plot
In the well-known documentary Super Size Me, filmmaker Morgan Spurlock eats nothing but food from McDonald's for thirty days and shows the (bad) influence this has on the human body. However, comedian and writer Tom Naughton clearly disagreed with the thrust of Super Size Me and even believes that Morgan Spurlock didn't take it too closely with the truth. Tom himself is convinced that you can even lose weight if you follow a diet of hamburgers and fries. In Fat Head, just like in Morgan Spurlock in Super Size Me, Tom is followed for thirty days during his fast food diet. This is interspersed with interviews with doctors, dietitians and others who, like Tom, agree that most of what we know about not so much unhealthy food, but about “healthy food” is wrong.
