Far Out Isn't Far Enough: The Tomi Ungerer Story plot

Tomi Ungerer, born in 1931, is a Franco-German artist. He has published over 140 books and received the Hans Christian Andersen Award in 1998 for his artwork. This documentary highlights the artist's life and art. Among other things, he made the famous movie poster of 'Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb'. Ungerer is an example for many other artists, but also a complex man who likes to push the boundaries in his work.
