"Can you ever come home?"
Per Persson left Sweden 40 years ago in a Landrover in search of adventure and ended up in Pakistan. There he found his love and started a new life. His Lahore-born daughters Zahra and Maria are now adults and know nothing of that distant Sweden, which strikes them as a dreamland. Per wants the best for his daughters, education and development, and despite fierce resistance from his wife, the family leaves for Sweden. There, one surprise after another awaits them.
