Fallen Champ: The Untold Story of Mike Tyson plot
Biography of former boxing champion Mike Tyson, the most controversial figure in the boxing world at the time of the making of the film. At twelve he was plucked from juvenile detention and delivered to boxing legend Cus D'Amato; at the age of twenty he reached the peak of his career; and at twenty-five he was sentenced to six years in prison for rape. The film combines archival footage of Tyson's battles and news coverage of his life with exclusive interviews with Tyson acquaintances and people who followed his career. For an hour and a half, Tyson's life is exhaustively examined, from his early childhood in the suburbs to the greatest heights he achieved as an athlete. Slowly but surely an image emerges of a young, rich man who has never learned to distinguish right from wrong.
