On September 19, 1973, Gram Parsons died under the influence of drugs and alcohol near his favorite place - the Joshua Tree monument in the California desert. Founder of The Flying Burrito Brothers, short-lived member of The Byrds, major influence on The Rolling Stones and man who helped Emmylou Harris to stardom, Gram Parons made music history in just a few years. Friends, contemporaries and fans of Gram Parsons talk about the impact of his work and the bizarre circumstances of his death.
