Fadma: Even Ants Have Wings plot

It's summer in a small village in the Moroccan Atlas Mountains. While the men take a nap or lay down a card, the women, with or without a child on their backs, water up the hills and take care of the household. That's how it always has been and that's how it will be...until Fadma steps in. This spirited, proud woman refuses to accept the age-old gender roles in the village. She and her husband have a very different relationship. She tells the women about equality between men and women and urges them to go on strike.
