Exil Deutschland - Abschied von der Türkei plot

Documentary about the journalist Can Dündar, who was banned from his own Turkey. This Turkish journalist is one of the most famous media figures from Turkey. He was arrested in November 2015 after his newspaper published images showing Turkish state security sending weapons to Syria. He has been living in exile in Berlin since 2016 because he has an arrest warrant in Turkey. He had to leave his family and job behind. Academics, journalists, artists and teachers are exposed to reprisals in Turkey. In addition to Can Dündar, three other people who have fled their homeland for that reason also have their say.
