Europe's Mining Renaissance plot

Massive investments are being made in clean technologies in the hope of "saving the planet". And all these technical gadgets rely on critical metals dominated by a handful of countries. Moreover, this extraction and further refining is often done in an irresponsible manner. The documentary exposes the economic, ecological and social consequences of this paradox. To what extent could Europe mine such metals itself? And what about the Sami, the indigenous population group in the far North, who oppose this mining for "energy transition metals".
