Documentary about the film movement that had its heyday in 1970s Europe, the Italian 'poliziotteschi' crime films. The films were compared to the American counterparts like Dirty Harry, but with typical Italian subjects and approach. In this documentary we also see the stars from these films, how they experienced the production process and how they dealt with the sometimes thin line between the real criminal environment and that from the films.
