In this documentary, journalist Nedjma examines how faithful Algerians think about life after death and how these fantasies affect daily reality. The film itself also mixes documentary with fiction – Nedjma is a character, the interviews are real. The lively conversations address relevant questions, such as: who else aspires to a better society or a happier life when all human needs are projected onto paradise? But also: what does that paradise actually have to offer a woman?
