Enfants de Choeurs! plot
For more than 125 years, L'accueil Bonneau homeless shelter in Montreal, Canada has served meals to a large number of displaced people. A few years before the turn of the century, a choir was formed from the regular clientele, consisting of about twenty men, who sing and make music. Initially, the choir sang mainly on the street and in the metro, in order to earn some money. Later, the initiative was noticed by the media and the choir was increasingly invited to perform on special occasions and even made a trip to Paris. Director Magnus Isacsson followed the members of this motley crew with the camera for more than a year and a half. He was present at performances, but also recorded what happens behind the scenes.
