'Endangered' introduces four journalists whose safety and profession are repeatedly threatened. The men and women live and work in democratic countries where freedom of the press has traditionally been considered a privilege. With an increasing amount of misinformation online and world leaders blatantly belittling the press, distrust of traditional media is growing. As a result, journalists are increasingly confronted with situations that are more likely to be encountered in war zones or autocratic states.
