End of the Rainbow plot

A large multinational gold mining company has established itself in a remote area of Guinea in West Africa. This poverty-stricken area has a long history of economic dependence on gold. This film is a wistful portrait of the changes caused by the mine and of the universal human desire for a better life. How do residents react to the opportunities and economic separation caused by the mine?
