The worst is the cold, explains homeless Marcelo in this documentary. He is one of the portrayed young homeless people from Quito, the capital of Ecuador. Marcelo would do anything for a safe, warm place to spend the night. He doesn't sleep a wink on long nights outside: "It's so cold that I'm awake to my own shivering." Marcelo, his best buddy Jackson and the other street boys finance their food, shelter and drug use through hard work and stealing. They are regularly verbally abused and mistreated by the police and elderly bums.
