Empire Interactive plot

A synagogue in the hills of Indonesia. A Brazilian jungle village populated by blond descendants of Zeeland immigrants. An isolated “whites only” community of separatist farmers in South Africa. The traces of Dutch colonialism are scattered all over the world. The makers of Empire Interactive visited ten countries in four years to document them. Within the various geographical niches, ideas about Dutch citizenship, Dutch identity or Dutch heritage are often developed in a completely different way than here.
