Elephant's Dream plot

Outside, Kinshasa's chaotic traffic, the boom in Chinese investors and the "revolution of modernity" preached by the Congolese government are on the rise. Three inhabitants of the metropolis each react differently to the changes that are announcing themselves. The post office worker is eager to enter a new era with computers. A firefighters side sees a bitter connection between the ruling dictatorship and the former Belgian settlers. Railroad worker Simon sees his work as a place to rest and spends his days singing songs.
