El Sandwich plot

The film depicts the daily living and working conditions of children in Abnoud, a rural village 600 kilometers south of Cairo through which tourist trains to the south of Egypt pass without stopping. A boy briefly transcends his poverty-stricken existence by transforming an old piece of bread into a special sandwich with drops of goat's milk.
