Einfach Machen - She-Punks von 1977 bis Heute plot

In his documentary, Reto Caduff tells the story of women who found their place in the male-dominated punk scene of the late 70s and early 80s. He sheds light on how punk came from England and the US to Germany, Austria and Switzerland as an expression of rebellion and self-aggrandizement, changing the musical landscape there. Bands like Östro 430, Mania D, Malaria! and Kleenex/LiLiPUT took to the stage under the motto “Don't talk, do it!” - their songs focused on female role clichés, macho behavior and the question of sexual self-determination.
