Ein Haus in Ninh Hoa plot
On the edge of the southern coast of Vietnam, in the town of Ninh Hoa is the old home of the Le family, surrounded by rice fields. The household is mainly run by women and consists of an unusual family composition. After all, part of the family has lived near Bonn for more than 40 years, while the rest has remained in Vietnam. In the summer of 2014, two relatives travel from Germany to Vietnam: the eldest daughter of her fathers who emigrated, has to help decide on the sale of a house that was originally built for the return of the emigrants. Meanwhile, her brother goes to Hanoi to find a medium.
