Een Goede Moslima plot

Documentary maker Frans Bromet has made a portrait of an Islamic woman who falls between two worlds. The morality of the Netherlands is at odds with the religious rules of its Muslim community. Yeter Akin came to the Netherlands as a 13-year-old girl and had little contact with people outside her Turkish family. As an adult woman she has found a middle ground between both cultures, but certain things, such as her divorce, remain taboo. She also sees young Muslim women struggling with their faith and radicalising.
