In 2007, a sound engineer and cameraman arrive in Corvo, the smallest island in the Azores archipelago and seemingly lost in the mid-Atlantic. Corvo is an immense rock six kilometers long and four kilometers wide with the crater of a volcano and a small village of 440 inhabitants. Gradually, the small film crew was accepted by the people of the island and they discovered a 500-year-old civilization of which there were no written records.
