Dreaming Nicaragua plot

For many children growing up in poor Nicaragua, the future is anything but bright. They are starving and have to work from an early age. Filmmaker Marcelo Bukin made a portrait of these children who, thanks to a drawing class, can escape the harsh conditions under which they live. Through their drawings and stories they share their experiences with the viewer. Despite the poverty, they remain childishly optimistic.
