Do It Again plot

To get ahead of his midlife crisis, passionate pop journalist Geoff Edgers decides to pursue his dream: reuniting British band The Kinks. Frontman Ray Davies' group celebrated its greatest successes - Lola, You Really Got Me - in the 1960s and 1970s. Ego issues and arguments between Ray Davies and the other band members, including his younger brother Dave, eventually killed the band. Edgers makes countless phone calls and hundreds of e-mails before realizing that it is more complex than he initially thought in his unbridled enthusiasm. It looks like a mission impossible to turn out.
