Disruption plot
Millions of women live in extreme poverty in the remote interiors of Peru, Colombia and Brazil. Many of them are illiterate and sentenced to work at home in the fields. The little money they earn quickly runs out or is taken away by their men. Under the inspiring leadership of visionary Yves Moury, a group of economists is working on creative solutions to free these women from the vicious circle of poverty on a large scale. One of his protégés is Colombian Any Benitez: she started the Women Savers project, which teaches women how to save and familiarizes them with bank accounts and ATMs.
