Since the Nazis killed two-thirds of the then 150,000 inhabitants, the old Cernovitz in the Ukrainian-Romanian area of Bukovina no longer exists. The survivors have become scattered all over the world. Their relatives and relatives, including the actor Harvey Keitel, are now visiting their country of origin.
