What makes a Frisian a Frisian? Traditionally, the Frisians protect their culture and community with their greatest weapon, the Frisian language. Now that the borders are becoming increasingly blurred, a gray area remains. A young Frisian filmmaker investigates and gradually discovers her own position and what being Frisian means to her.
