Die Macht der Vulkane plot

Volcanic eruptions usually have catastrophic consequences for nearby wildlife and people. Just think of the Roman city of Pompeii, which was completely buried under lava after the eruption of Vesuvius. Despite all the risks, millions of people still live in the immediate vicinity of an active volcano.
