A portrait of oboist Han de Vries, who stopped performing about 9 years ago and in recent years has focused on painting in order to 'find out who I really am'. It shows how Han de Vries shifts his boundaries to the visual arts in the space of 3 years in order to process his childhood traumatized by the war.
